What you read here is no substitute for an appointment
On this website we explain what our services involve and publish general information about eye and hearing health. It is written to help you understand what is happening to you and what we can do about it, but it is not a diagnosis nor personalised clinical advice, and you should not use it to decide on a treatment by yourself or to stop one you are already following.
Every eye and every ear is different. Take what you read here as a starting point and come in for an examination, or speak to your doctor or ophthalmologist.
Terms of use
Browsing this website does not in itself start any commercial relationship with the centre: for that you need to book an appointment and come in. Requesting one through the form does not confirm it either; we will contact you to agree on a day and a time.
We ask you to use the website in good faith: without trying to damage it, without accessing parts that are not public, and without using the contact details to send unsolicited advertising.
We do our best to keep the website available and everything on it correct and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that there will be no interruptions, errors or information that has fallen out of date. We may change, add or withdraw content and services when necessary, and revise this legal notice when the law or the website itself changes.
Intellectual and industrial property
The texts, photographs, videos, design and code of this website belong to the owner or are used with the permission of whoever made them. You may read them, print them and share links to them for your own personal use. What you may not do without our written permission is copy, reproduce or reuse them for commercial purposes, even if you cite the source.
The manufacturers’ brands that appear on the website belong to their respective owners and are mentioned solely to indicate which products we work with.
If you believe that any content on this website infringes a right of yours, write to us at visualeyecenter@gmail.com and we will look into it.
Links to other websites
Some links on this website lead to sites that are not ours: social networks, manufacturers, official bodies or maps. They are there only to help you and do not imply that we endorse their content. Once you leave here, it is their terms and their privacy policy that apply, not ours.
If you want to link to this website from yours, you may do so without asking our permission, provided the link leads to the page as it is, without framing it or suggesting a relationship between us that does not exist.
Your data and cookies
Everything to do with personal data is explained, in full and without small print, on two separate pages:
- Privacy policy: what data we handle, what for, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights.
- Cookie policy: which cookies the website uses and how to change your decision.
If you want to make a complaint
If something has not gone as you expected, the quickest thing is to tell us: write to us at visualeyecenter@gmail.com, call us on +34 922 38 99 75 or come to the centre. In most cases it is settled there and then.
If you prefer the formal route, the official complaint forms are available to you at the premises, and you may file your complaint with the competent consumer authority. If your matter concerns the handling of your personal data, the route is the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
Applicable law
This website and any relationships arising through it are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, any dispute may be brought before the courts of your place of residence, as consumer law entitles you to do. Otherwise, the courts of Santa Cruz de Tenerife shall have jurisdiction.
